ARTIST STATEMENT

My artist journey restarted with getting a degree in interior design. I started with a study of form and space with a series of famous chairs and interior sketches and have graduated to a more refined, personal vision.

My work oscillates between surrealism, contemporary world events, and more recently, abstraction.

I enjoy a limited color palette where there is an emphasis on complementary colors and heavy textures.

Watercolor and acrylic paints are my primary mediums to help showcase a sense of home and identity.
